Cogs & Clockwork - Fergus Steampunk Festival is for all those interested in the unique science fiction sub-genre of steampunk!
This is a family-friendly event aims to introduce and share the creativity of the steampunk community and to show locals and guests a truly wonderful time!

What's New for 2024?
This year we have added "Steam Queens", a steampunk drag crossover, "Arc Odyssey" a steampunk belly dancing troupe and we will be having food trucks participate this year.
We will be increasing our evening activities which will hopefully include a beer garden and a limited edition Cogs & Clockwork beer can available at local outlets only.
We have split our scavenger hunt into two so guests can pick up their prizes before they leave. We are adding a Steampunk midway area where tou can play games of skill to win prizes.
There will be a schedule of some of our artists doing discussions and demonstrations in their booths.
Parking
"There are five municipal parking lots located in downtown Fergus:
St George Street W across from Fergus Curling Club (vendor parking lot A)
St George Street W at the Fergus Curling Club (vendor parking lot b)
Provost Lane at St Patrick Street W
Menzies Lane behind the Fergus Public Library
Queen Street W behind the Fergus Market Place"
Shuttle Buses
To help with parking there will be a shuttle bus traveling from the corner of Beaty Line and St. Andrew St. then heading to AO Smith Parking lot then to downtown to drop guests off at the festival. Shuttles will be running frequently until 5pm then less so after 5pm ending at 8pm.

Land Acknowledgement
The Cogs and Clockwork Steampunk Festival would like to acknowledge that the lands this festival takes place on have been and still are home to Indigenous nations since time immemorial. We acknowledge we are on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, as well as the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee.
With increasing encroachment by non-Indigenous settlers, in the area now known as the Township of Centre Wellington, the Mississaugas could not continue their traditional lifestyle and retreated to villages along the Credit River, eventually settling in the Grand River Valley. The Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation uphold their Treaty Rights within our jurisdiction.
Today, the Township of Centre Wellington remains home to Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share and respect Mother Earth and are committed to building constructive and cooperative relationships with Indigenous nations.
